Rah Digga has come a long way since her days as the leading lady in Busta Rhymes' Flipmode Squad. After releasing her solo debut, 2000's Dirty Harriet, Digga became disenchanted with the music industry and embarked on a 10-year sabbatical. She went to film school, settled down, and had a child. But, like Jay-Z during his myriad retirements, the allure kept calling her back. She's back in the fold with her first album in 10 years, .

Get excited. Get very excited. Lauryn Hill is readying her new, yet-to-be-titled album for a release soon. There's not a lot of specifics right now, but L'Boogie told that she's getting closer to finishing the LP. The only thing that seems certain for now is that she doesn't plan on doing many, if any, collaborations on her new album.

"I have respect for what people do," Hill said. "I also like to hear the eclectics, I like to hear the mixture. There's a lot of different creative energies out there right now. I respect the different sounds that I'm hearing. It's been such a long time since I've gotten my voice and my ideas [out]. In terms of collaborations, that's not even something I've been thinking about per se. I'm happy that people are still making music. That we still have a platform with which to make music. It's gonna be interesting to see what the future holds."

C'mon, Lauryn, just say what you really think: 90% of new music sucks lemon balls.
